Arielle Amara Dreher is a journalist currently based in San Francisco, Calif. She has reported in four corners of the United States as well as abroad, and her work has appeared in both national and local publications. She is originally from Washington state. She writes about health, politics, gender, education, business and criminal justice.

Dreher’s work has received multiple awards, including Green Eyeshade Awards, AP Awards and a GLAAD nomination. She completed a Health Care Performance Fellowship with the Association of Health Care Journalists in 2022.

She has a master's degree from Columbia Journalism School and bachelor’s degrees in journalism and English from Azusa Pacific University.

Her work has appeared in Axios, The Spokesman Review, the 74 Million, Jackson Free Press, Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business, Religion News Service, Huffington Post, The Washington Post and The Everett Herald.
